The sun shone on Seattle today and now my mind is aflutter with ideas of summer activities, bbqs and lots of vitamin D.
Despite being super busy with work stuff (hoping to let you all in on what I've been up to shortly - business building in stealth mode right now) I want to make the most out of this summer, so I'm putting together a list of all the fun things I want to do to remind myself to get out there and have some fun too!
- Camping trip(s) with friends
- Wine tasting in Lake Chelan
- Hike's with my pup & husband (Rattlesnake Ridge as well as new places)
- Plan a fun weekend getaway with just the hubs for our wedding anniversary (3 years on June 29th - crazy!)
- eat dinner outside on the deck as much as possible
- grow veggies in my garden (semi-check already as I planted my raised bed last week - but so far not seeing much growth)
- Take Gordie (the pup) to Marymoor off-leash dog park & teach him to swim
- Happy Hour's outside on the patio
- Enjoy a Mariner's game (major league baseball)
- Enjoy a Rainier's game (minor league baseball)
- Run a 5k to support a good cause

its summer and super hot in here!... lets go to the beach and get tan! LOL chillin with smoothies and bbq... im also done with camping and hiking. maybe fishing is next on my list.
ReplyDeletenice post!
Sounds like a wonderful summer list to me!! Thanks for stopping by my blog :)
ReplyDeleteLove your list! You can add bbqing and hanging out on the Nash's back deck :) Baseball games are on our list too. And are we wine tasting in Chelan? I hope so!
ReplyDeleteYour mention of Rattlesnake Ridge just brought up memories of fun evenings playing The Farming Game. My dad always liked that it was "invented on the seat of a tractor" by a local farmer! {I was born and raised in WA state}
ReplyDeleteGreat list! Makes me crave summer even though in my neck of the woods, it's a scorcher.
Love the photo and your list!
ReplyDeleteI need to make a summer list too! Outside activities will of course be on it!
